フーレンとは/What is Foolen?

フーレンとは、2019年3月31日に鈴木けんぞう氏がYouTubeに投稿した動画に登場する架空のポケモンです。

Foolen is a fictional Pokemon that appears in a video posted on YouTube by Kenzo Suzuki on March 31, 2019.

ゲーム“ポケットモンスターダイヤモンド・パール”の中でバグを利用するとフーレンを捕まえられる、というエープリルフールネタです。

This is an April Fool's joke where you can catch Foolen by exploiting a bug in the game "Pokémon Diamond and Pearl."

その後、2022年4月1日に鈴木けんぞう氏がYouTubeに投稿した動画に再び登場しました。

After that, he reappeared in a video posted on YouTube by Kenzo Suzuki on April 1, 2022.

2回目はゲーム“ポケットモンスターブリリアントダイヤモンド・シャイニングパール”でのバグ技で遭遇できる、という内容でした。
The second time was about encounters that can be made using bug techniques in the game "Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl."

2022年9月2日に投稿された動画でフーレンのコインを作成し、マクタコーポレーションのダメージカウンターダイスを購入すると1枚ついてくるといった形で配布されました。

In the video posted on September 2, 2022, Foolen coins were created and distributed in the form that one was included when purchasing makutacorp damage counter dice.

その後、2023年4月1日に投稿された動画で特別ECサイトにてフーレンのコインを販売されることが発表されました。

After that, it was announced in a video posted on April 1, 2023 that Foolen coins would be sold on a special EC site.

前回の動画の反響が大きく30分ほどで完売、高額で転売されている状況を見て2023年4月7日投稿の動画で再販が発表されました。

The previous video had such a great response that it sold out in about 30 minutes and was being resold at a high price, so the resale was announced in a video posted on April 7, 2023.

合計すると全部で3回、正規の方法で入手する機会がありました。

真鍮製のため公式のメタルレギュラーサイズのコインより2倍近く重くなっているのだと思われます。
